Dr. Kenneth Kim is CEO of Allergy, Asthma, and Respiratory Care Medical Center, a private allergy and asthma practice in Southern California, and has been featured on CNN, ABC, KTLA, Univision, and many other media outlets. Additionally, Dr. Kim is CEO of Ark Clinical Research, a late-stage multi-therapeutic clinical trial site.

Dr. Kim, a summa cum laude graduate of Harvard College, received his MD from Harvard Medical School. Following a fellowship at the MIT Sloan School of Management, he completed his internal medicine and allergy/immunology training at UCLA and has served on the clinical faculty both at UCLA and UCI Schools of Medicine for over 15 years. Dr. Kim has served as a medical monitor, consultant, and investigator on over 800 clinical trials, having published over 30 research articles and 50 abstracts in peer reviewed journals. He has presented to decision-makers in the FDA, PMDA, SFDA, and KFDA. He is a nationally recognized expert in the areas of early stage clinical research, ethnobridging drug development strategy, influenza challenge, mold allergy, latex allergy, and COVID vaccine and treatments.

In his spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling with his wife, Johanna, spending time with their four children, and photography.

Dr. Hee-Jin Jung
Dr. Hee-jin Jung is originally from the tristate area and grew up in New York/New Jersey. She was exposed to the medical field at an early age, spending summers in South Korea in her physician uncle's General Surgery clinic. With these formative experiences, both she and her older brother were inspired to pursue medicine. She is also fluent in Korean.
Dr. Jung attended medical school at TouroCOM in upstate New York, where she received her medical degree. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey and is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She then completed a two-year fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Jung and her husband recently relocated to southern California, and she is excited to establish roots here.
Through her family and relatives, Dr. Jung has personally witnessed firsthand the impact that allergic/atopic conditions can have on one's quality of life, and she strives to improve the quality of life of her patients with an approach that is patient-centered. Dr. Jung is also a sub-investigator of several ongoing research studies, including urticaria, asthma, COPD, and allergic rhinitis.
In her free time, Dr. Jung enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband, family, and friends.
Dr. Betty Liu
Dr. Betty Liu grew up in Southern California. She attended the University of California, Berkeley for her undergraduate work and graduated with Honors in Molecular and Cell Biology and Public Policy.
Dr. Liu attended the University of California, San Diego for Medical School with her clinical training focused on Pediatrics. She completed her Pediatrics training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and her Allergy/Immunology training at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Liu has is both a Board-Certified Pediatrician and Allergist/Immunologist.

Though she cares for patients of all ages, Dr. Liu has a special interest in Asthma and Food Allergies in children. She takes pride in working closely together with her patients to develop a treatment plan that is best for them. Dr. Liu is also an investigator in clinical trials for Asthma and Allergic Rhinitis.

In her free time, Dr. Liu enjoys spending time with her husband and twin daughters and enjoying all that Southern California has to offer.
Candace Cam
Candace Cam is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a passionate commitment to advancing patient outcomes through specialized clinical care and robust involvement in clinical research. Practicing since 2019, she is dedicated to guiding patients through complex health challenges using a foundation built on evidence-based practice and a holistic view of the individual.
A driving force behind Candace’s practice is her strong interest in clinical research and integrating the latest science directly into patient care. Her primary clinical and research focus lies in managing and improving care for patients with asthma and allergy. She is dedicated to investigating novel approaches to these chronic respiratory and immune conditions to ensure her patients benefit from the most current and effective treatments available.

In her personal time, she is an avid adventurer who enjoys traveling and exploring new foods.
Eduardo Juarez
Eduardo Juarez is a bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Fluent in English and Spanish, he focuses on preventive health and long-term wellness, creating care plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.

With more than 8 years of intensive care unit (ICU) nursing experience, he is skilled in caring for patients with complex health needs. He draws on this background to provide safe, thoughtful, and effective care for every patient.

In addition to his clinical practice, Eduardo has over 12 years of experience in clinical research and currently serves as a sub-investigator on outpatient studies for allergies, asthma, COPD, and skin conditions. This work keeps him up to date on emerging therapies and ensures his patients receive evidence-based care.
Jennifer Ballinger, MD, MBA
Dr. Jennifer Ballinger is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with extensive clinical, academic, and research experience. She earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, followed by a residency in Emergency Medicine at the Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center. She further specialized by completing an Ultrasound Fellowship at Kings County Hospital Center/SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Ballinger holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, equipping her with a strong foundation in healthcare management and strategic leadership.
Currently, Dr. Ballinger continues to practice emergency medicine while pursuing her growing interest in research.
Her work reflects a commitment to evidence-based care, innovation in clinical practice, and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
Dr. Rajvee Sanghavi
Dr. Rajvee Sanghavi is a board-certified pediatrician with a special interest in allergy and immunology. She earned her medical degree from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in New Mexico, followed by residency training in Pediatrics at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, CA, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive and family-centered
pediatric care.
In additional to her clinical training, Dr. Sanghavi is committed to advancing equitable healthcare for underserved communities and addressing health disparities through evidence- based care. She currently serves as an investigator on studies for various allergic and respiratory conditions, ensuring patients benefit from the latest research and clinical advances.

Currently, Dr. Sanghavi continues to practice pediatrics while pursuing her professional interests in allergy and immunology and clinical research.
